Cowan Cove is a great spot to unplug with a 36' camper trailer or even a tent. Sites are clean, open, and grassy with fire rings and by the water. Saw the most beautiful moonrise over the water last weekend!

I think it is 16 miles of the pathed road. So I wouldn't be taking a big rig RV. Expect lots of bugs. We had a screen house. But all so worth the beauty peace and tranquility.

Absolutely wonderful primitive camp site. My favorite place in the WORLD to be. Be prepared for bugs and a long drive though!

If you want bliss in the middle of nowhere, This is the place. A small piece of heaven on earth. Great place to rest and leave behind worries for a while. No running water. There is a shared outhouse. It is cleaned and maintained. We use the lake to bath. An experience I hope to continue to have annually.
