AMC Gorman huts are great and the location is super cool on the edge of second narrows, a long lake you can ski across. They serve yummy food address people’s sensitivities and provide an opportunity to unplug unwind and understand that we live in a too busy world of our own making. Peaceful and gorgeous spend a few days so you can explore the surrounding wilds.

This might be the best vacation spot ever. I loved my stay here. Very nice people who make it feel like home. Breakfast and dinner served. Breakfast starts at 8. Dinner at 6. Very clean and spacious. The sauna is amazing and clean. The cabins were homey, clean and warm. Overall an amazing experience. Will definitely come back

Stayed here one night when I was hiking in the 100 mile wilderness and boy is it beautiful. Tons of trails to explore, a beautiful lake, meals included with lodging, beautiful rustic cabins, and awesome staff (aka the croo). Will definitely be back next summer and this time I’ll bring my kiddos since it was kid friendly and had a beautiful lake for kayaking and paddle boarding (both of those on si... This was a wonderful time at a first-class beautiful location on Long Pond. The foot of snow on the way there enhanced the magic that we all felt on the trails. We skied in 8 miles and out for 7; although some of us also took the option of snowmobiling in and out. We were a group of 5 friends that had a cabin and a great time! Rose was a fantastic cook and everyone did a great job of making su... This was a wonderful time at a first-class beautiful location on Long Pond. Gorman Chairback Lodge is a perfect place to enjoy the outdoors with family and friends. I had a wonderful experience with my brother and my nephew. The food, lodging, hikes, and pond activities were exceptional! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt like they cared a lot about their environment and made our experience very memorable. I would definitely recommend this to others...
