We stayed at West Bay Acadia over the summer and absolutely loved it! We enjoyed taking our kayaks out on the bay and exploring the beautiful Schoodic Peninsula — the quiet side of Acadia was such a treat. We had such a wonderful stay and can’t wait to go back!

Can’t say enough good things about this place.

Our dogs visited the dog park multiple times a day and on our second day, we shared a growler with Michelle and Sheila at our site and had the best time getting to know them. They are the salt of the earth kind of people you come back to a campground for! I will miss watching the sunrise over the bay from the swing as well as the kind people we met along the way.

We had a wonderful week staying at West Bay Acadia the last week of June '25. There is so much to do in the area. Acadia is about 35 -40 min away. With all the scenery you don't mind the drive at all. The staff was amazing, friendly & helpful with places to go and restaurants to try. The campground is very clean a well maintained. We look forward to returning at some point in the future.
