Our site was the nicest site we have ever been on. Very large, clean, and right on beautiful North Lake, and close to the bathrooms. The park is not very big but it does offer some great short hikes and a beautiful forest. Beautiful beach that would be great for the warmer months, and the whole park is completely dog friendly. Peter was the park warden when we were there, and he was super friendly, professional, and accommodating. He actually came to our site when we first arrived and asked us if we needed anything and gave us a run down of everything in the park. There are no showers or running water in this park, but there is clean water provided for your trailer or tent sites. We loved Northlake and highly recommend it to anyone who likes camping and is in Newbrunswick.

Beautiful quiet park! No running water amenities though so come prepared with portable showers and plenty of drinking water. There is potable water but it’s a garden hose behind the entrance cabin. There is a well pump for utility water as well further in the park. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Delivering our wood directly to our site so we wouldn’t have to carry it back. Cash only for the wood though so bring cash!!! The sites run on the smaller side. If you camped 6 people with 3 tents and 3 cars, I’m not sure there’d be enough room for everything. We were just 2 and there may have been room for another tent but probably not for another car! The sites are fairly private but the brush is thin between some sites, mainly because this is a brand new park and they’ve been busy cleaning up all the dead trees out, you can tell! But the brush will grow back quickly providing more privacy between sites. It’s not a big park, so it’s not busy and it’s quiet. There is not much to do in the park besides the beach. No trails, towns or tourist attractions nearby, which makes this park ideal to truly relax and disconnect for a weekend. Some sites have access to the lake but not all. The beach was very clean and the water was nice! A bit rocky the deeper you go so bring water shoes. Not reedy or muddy/gross, it was a very nice beach! I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be coming back! I would highly recommend this park, just come prepared and don’t expect 5 star luxury resort for amenities!

Best provincial park we’ve camped at in NB. Seriously. The sites are excellent (semi private to fully private), park is very well manicured, the park attendant was incredibly polite and helpful. Highly recommend staying here!

This is a great little 45 space campground, that is well maintained. The 2 young men working there were always doing something to improve the park. Back to the basics outdoor toilet and water tap behind the station . But so clean and quiet, We hope it stays that way. People remember to do as we did " clean up after yourself, your dog, and people be quite everyone needs to get away . Thanks

Such a hidden gem! We camped with our 21 ft trailer and we would fit in most of the sites. While there are a few sites with electricity it’s only 15amp so not really a serviced site. While there are a few sites with electricity it’s only 15amp so not really a serviced site. There is also limited access to potable water in the park so make sure to bring your own or fill your tanks prior to arriving. The staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating!! A few of the sites have direct access to the beautiful lake but if you are not lucky enough to get one there is still access next to site 13 that seemed for the rest of the campground. There is also a great beach with plenty of parking and lots of space to set up and relax at for the day. On a final note, bring your fishing rod and licence! If you walk through the bush in any direction towards the water there is lots of great spots to cast from and catch fish from !! Amazing place! We will definitely be back !
