What a gem find!! Fabulous hosts... clean bathrooms and showers. Plenty of options to stay in and many perks! Water and electric sites, cabins, etc coin laundry machines, yard games (goofy golf, jarts & more) firewood available and ice. We usually stay at state & NP locations but we were in the Acadia Park all day and called here. Worth the cal!! Super quiet. Dog friendly. Left a message and she... What a gem find!! We stayed two nights in a tent spot and one night in a camping cabin. It was very nice. Private sights, nice little cabin, nice game room by the office. The bathroom at back of property has one shower and two toilets. There's also a bathroom at front with laundry facilities. The owner was very nice. Nice fire rings. The office sells ice and firewood. Very woody. My con was the roads... We stayed two nights in a tent spot and one night in a camping cabin. It was very nice. Private sights, nice little cabin, nice game room by the office. Also, I personally think all non-cabin sites should have a later check out, like noon. Lots of places to see in the area.

Excellent place to stay! Highly recommend. Stayed in the Hobbit hole and it was perfect for the experience we were looking for. Very clean facilities and convenient way to check in and purchase on site firewood. Little dissapointed that on our last day they cleaned the outhouse beside us at 7am waking us up with a start, as they were using a power washer and noisy machinery when they expect camper... They were very easy to book with over the phone, and super helpful. Our tent site was nice, and quiet. We heard the animals moving around at night amd the squirrels chattering in the trees in the morning. And the stars through the trees were amazing!

Stayed in a hobbit hut & really enjoyed it. It was bigger than I thought, but didn't have locking doors. So, it's best to think of it like a hard-sided tent with a mattress on the ground. The bathrooms were fine for campground bathrooms. Only one shower per gendered bathroom, but we never had to wait for anyone. The large 24-hour recreation room behind the office was fun with a pool table, tv, mov... Stayed in a hobbit hut & really enjoyed it. It was bigger than I thought, but didn't have locking doors. There was a microwave, lots of outlets for charging, & wifi. Firewood was available self-service at a good price. The campground was about 35mins from the Park Loop Road sections of Acadia NP, but the price to stay definitely accommodated for that.
