I'm pretty happy with this campground, and we will return. Bathrooms are clean, and so are showers. Sites are well maintained. We had a fire pit, a well built shelter and picnic tables. We had a fire pit, a well built shelter and picnic tables. Showers do require quarters to operate, but this keeps people from taking too long of one and keeps them free. We had some weather blow through and had some tent trouble one night. Our site had some low spots that flooded in the down pour. It dried up pretty quickly after the rain stopped the next day but it remained wet while lightly raining. The hook ups (water/electric) are in an odd spot for an RV because they are on the wrong side, but the site is large enough to make it work one way or another, and there are a few options. After 4 nights, the dump station is free, but I never found it and did not need it for the duration of our stay. I never was able to connect to campground wifi, but I was fine and brought my own ways to connect if I HAD to. It is nice to get away only when you want to and have the option if its needed. Very convenient location walking distance from take out and from Barry's where you can get just about anything you would need. Easy access and great to work with. I only removed a star due to the standing water on our site. The other sites do not appear to have this issue from what I could see and things dry up pretty quickly.

We were a little unprepared to go “camping”. Kim was overly accommodating first offering a site on the Appleton house lawn.. some how we forgot our tent. Nervously I went to the office and explained the situation. She insisted we stay in the house as it was 9 pm and we were ready to just turn around and go back home, cranky very awake two year old in tow. Riverdrivers campground will forever have... Thank you Kim, I owe you one. Your generosity is truly appreciated!
