We had the pleasure of staying at this campground recently, and we cannot understand the negative reviews. The campground was spotless, the staff was super friendly and non-invasive, and the bathhouses were simple but clean with more than enough hot water for showers. For $.50 you got a fantastic 15 minute very hot shower. The trails were beautiful and led out to the tide marsh, which is where we... Very enjoyable. I would imagine why people are having issues with this campground is that it feels like more of a 55+. It is not a noisy young family, kid friendly, party atmosphere. And there is no swimming. It was definitely geared more towards older people that like peace and quiet and old school atmosphere. With that being said, I would definitely camp there again and recommend it to my friends.

My family and I stayed at this campground over the weekend, and had an amazing time. The facilities are well kept and clean, and they offer a can and bottle and trash can at each site that they come around and collect every day, which is a great feature. Very nice camping. Spots are spread out nicely with a lot of amenities. Laundry, hot showers (.25$ for 5 minutes) Each spot has a fire ring and picnic table. Some have decks. Many are waterfront camping as well. Not a lot of bugs, but definitely some. We enjoyed the space so much we decided to stay an additional night.
