Saint Francis is popular during peak season. Reserve 2-4 weeks in advance for weekends and holidays.
Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.
Maine weather can change quickly. Pack layers and check the forecast for Saint Francis.
Don't miss local attractions near Saint Francis. Ask the camp host for hidden gems and trails.

If this place doesn’t make the top 100 list for class A RV’s and everyone else I’ll be shocked. The incredible well thought out layout of the campsites is amazing and each site feels unique in its own way. I stayed on site 157. The developer is an experienced construction company owner and went to great lengths to execute the finest site work I’ve seen at a campground. I don’t think this could be... I don’t think this could be replicated financially to make sense. Staff was fabulous. Pool was perfect. The buildings were impressive and the on site restaurant was adequate. A real gem in Greenville Maine. Bravo moose Creek well done!!

Tony & Christina were simply amazing!! We felt like we “came home” the minute we arrived on property. They were very professional and super friendly, providing tons of local information that greatly improved our trip to Glacier National Park!! Thanks again!!

This was our second year staying at Moosecreek RV Park. We can’t say enough good things about it! The entire resort is first class! Easy to find sites, superb bathroom facilities, clubhouse, fire pits, beautiful roads. Trees everywhere. Dog friendly with waste stations spread throughout the enormous campgrounds. Close to the lake too! As people who build homed and excavate for a living the owners... This was our second year staying at Moosecreek RV Park. We can’t say enough good things about it! This is a wonderful place. Someone really thought this through when laying out the design. The property is immaculate and well maintained. The roads are smooth and wide. The sites are spacious and well spaced from each other. The wifi is great and up to date. There is a open space where seasonals tend to be camped. We had site # 131 a back in site and we loved it. We had site # 131 a back in site and we loved it. Awning side has no other units next to it. Just woods. Felt like our own private spot. There are many pull through sites very nice but less private. Then there are the back in sites that are very nice and offer quite a bit of privacy. The bathrooms and showers were spotless as was the laundry. The only draw back was that the restaurant on site had very limited open hours. And the one day we were told it would be open they never opened. That said in town there are several places to eat. One of our favorites was Jamos's Pizza although a small place and take out only they have great pizza and other sandwiches. Its a beautiful area to visit.

Everything thing here is 5 stars…. Other than the nickel and diming. After reading other reviews it always seems the response is “read our terms and conditions”. I’m sure everyone has. But not all rules need adhering to. The staff is following orders so my frustration would be at the owners. We stay here 2 + weeks a year. The staff is following orders so my frustration would be at the owners. We stay here 2 + weeks a year. This last weekend when you were at I’m guessing 20% capacity I asked your front office if I could have a late check out. I was told for $10 per hour. I told her I was un hooked from power and sewer and would even move to the site next door that was open so they could clean the site I was in to be able to visit one of the state parks. She said for $10 an hour. I asked about parking in the over flow lots which were completely empty she said no. I asked about the field next door where you allow boats and atvs she said no. So I went up to the Indian hill trading post and asked John. He said “ya sure park over by the propane tank”. Sometimes a little goes a long way. It wouldn’t have put you all out at all to let us leave the camper there. Glad to see that there is still some “small town and small business practices” still around.
