Amazing vacation spot, the camp site at Sand cove point was amazing and I can't wait to go back! The boat launch was paved with a ple parking, could launch anything from a bass boat to a pontoon here. The lakes is FULL of hidden rocks, and at h your prop!

We love going here on days we can. It's peaceful, quiet and reserved. We usually see moose along the way. Other boaters are friendly and respectful. They have campsites available as a first come, first serve. Most are boat access. We love cruising the canal and just enjoying the scenery that leads to the lake. Great fishing! Not many areas to shore fish and wouldn't swim, bountiful and huge leache... We love going here on days we can. It's peaceful, quiet and reserved. We usually see moose along the way. Great quiet place to camp for free. A few drive in places and some walkable if you explore the road a bit. Seemingly much improved parking as it looked great to me.
