This is a good campground for short stop overs. We were on our way back from Acadia and decided to stop and visit the Maine Costal Botanical Gardens. The campground is on a fairly steep hill that makes the back in sites a little challenging. The site itself was close to level. The katydids were very loud at dusk. Fortunately, we enjoyed listening them. The rest rooms are older but kept very clean.... This is a good campground for short stop overs. It was nice to shower outside the wet bath in our camper. The road nearby was loud during the day but quieted down after 9pm. We would stay here again for a night or two if we needed a stop over point in the area.

This was our 2nd visit here for a quick couple days away. Very quiet location. A bit of an out of the way location, but a great place to stop for a night or 2 while passing through. Simple campsites with w/elec. SUPER clean! Bathrooms were immaculate. Staff are all friendly and helpful. The recreation room could do with some improvements. Overall, a nice place to stop.

Late fall season stop so park was not crowded. We had a pull through spot #22 with full hook ups available. The park was gravel and a generous size, we were able to park easily 44' long motorhome and toad without disconnecting. Bathrooms were clean, on demand got water system for showers was marginal and water seemed overly softened. We would stay again if in the area.

Hands-down, one of the best campgrounds I have ever been to in Maine. Tons of family activities and a really friendly environment. Me and my family have been going here for three years and plan to go Again, next year. The lots are pretty comfortable, And they even have movie night, where you can bring your kids down and launch a random movie on the big screen! I definitely recommend going there at... This was a surprisingly good KOA. It is located on a hill but the sites were well leveled and easy to get in and out of with a 40' motorhome towing a jeep. Hook ups were all good with good water pressure. This KOA has a lot for it only being considered a journey. Good stop if going through Maine or visiting the area.
