Rangeley Lake State Park felt like one of those peaceful, tucked-away places where time slows down a little. I loved just standing by the shore and watching the water shift colors as the day went on. The park has a really cozy, quiet vibe. The trails are easy to enjoy, nothing too intense, but they lead you to some great viewpoints where you can just breathe and take everything in. Only $21 for Maine residents, that was on a weekday not sure if they charge more for weekends. This place has all the amenities, potable water, flush toilets, shower, trash, cell service, etc. Some sites are definitely better than others, try to get one by the lake

Nice hiking trails with some exposed root challenges. Most of the trails were easy. Enjoyed biking around the park. Camping sites were clean, quiet and fairly level with some sites near the water. Bathrooms were also clean. Thank you for a fun camping trip!

Stopped in to find out about hikes in the area. Such a helpful woman at the booth that gave us a trail printout and let us know where the toilets were. Very pretty lake.
