Close to Deep Creek, but not underfoot. They had the cleanest, nicest bathrooms I've ever seen. Our site was a pull-thru with utilities (elec, water, sewer) on both sides for flexibility, a big picnic table and fire ring. Little extras like a 5gal firewater bucket for us at the site (had never seen that before) and the firewood was plentiful and very reasonably priced (and they even had a small yard cart for use bringing your wood to the site). We did find TV & cellular reception was weak, and because we're always hesitant to use strange WIFIs (our issue not theirs, they had multiple antennas for coverage) we had limited online access during our stay. The onsite manager and his coworker were very nice, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, the other campers we saw or talked to while there were friendly and pleasant. This was are first time there, we've definitely added them to our favorites list.

We were in town for a baseball tournament across the Deep Creek Area. It's a very peaceful and mostly shaded campground that offers a great alternative to the expensive homes/hotels close by. We will stay again next year if we participate in the Deep Creek tournament again.

Overall it was a good experience.

Fantastic place, everything was extremely clean. It's not too far from Deep Creek Lake. They have a nice little camp store, and the game room provided family fun with FREE fuse ball, air hockey, and golf game.
