It is easy to access from the Beltway I-495. It is part of the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Historical Park. Upon entering the park, it comes to a T-intersection. Turn left to the end for the Pavilion parking. There were a few shaded lots. There is large field for games and soccers, and a net stand for volleyball and more. The fees were $350 for our weekend party.

Great location with picnic grounds and bathrooms, but unfortunately, during the shutdown of the government, the bathrooms are locked. Because this is a remote location there is no gas station with a bathroom within like 3 miles.

Nice picnic place. Big enough for big groups. No real soccer ground, but enough place to play. The Eastern part of the picnic ground is not the best place for fishing.

Attractive, shaded picnic grounds with plenty of parking and nearby indoor restrooms. Close to the trailhead for the Billy Goat trail and next to the C&O Canal towpath.
