Beautiful campground- we keep our travel trailer here and its first class. Well kept - clean and quiet and super close to the beach. The most affordable and absolutely wonderful spot if your looking for a nice quiet place to keep your trailer and have access to all chincoteague has to offer. 5 stars 🔥

Not sure what is happening. I see dog waste everywhere and it stinks horribly. There needs to be a section that is dogs only and not allow them near non-dog owner sites. We have a small child and this is just not safe. If it weren’t for that, it’s perfect. Quiet, under beautiful trees, and not a lot of cars going by which makes it safer for children. Pool is nice in the summer. I pray they handle the out of control dog owners.

Off season experience was perfect. Private and quiet tent site in what felt was a wildlife refuge. The tent sites face water. You can hear so many different species of birds morning to night. Cannot wait to come back!

Quiet park....sites are tight in general. We got a nice spacious site beside the pool. We stayed off season. Ponds and hobby farm to walk and explore. I enjoyed farm feeding times with lots of animals and birds. Internet at office area only. $70 per night. Friendly office staff and handy to walk or drive to main town.

Have been coming here for years. The campground remains basically the same, however it seems to have more permanent 5th wheel campers in the front of the property, pull up campers in the middle and then plenty of open spots for tents and small campers in the back. The campground remains basically the same, however it seems to have more permanent 5th wheel campers in the front of the property, pull up campers in the middle and then plenty of open spots for tents and small campers in the back. They no longer take reservations so it’s a first come first served basis. There will never be an issue of needing spots bc there is plenty of room. It includes two bathhouses, places to wash dishes and a washer/dryer. The pool is nice and clean and is surrounded by caged specialized birds for enjoyment. It’s rarely used so it continues to be a nice option before/after or instead of the beach. It’s a 10 minute drive or 30 minute bike ride to the beach. There are plenty of super tall pine trees and Loblolly pines and crape Myrtle’s to pitch your tents between. The tent only area is nestled up along a large pond/swamp that is home to many birds, geese and a “wildish” family of alpacas. You can wake up to an alpaca starring you down. There are water and electric sites available and all are very affordable. Each come with a picnic table and fire ring. While the owners are still the same, they have new employees working the front desk & managing the grounds. All are very nice and helpful. The campsite & island do get sprayed for bug as the mosquitoes are the kings & queens of the campground. As soon as you exit your tent, camper or car- spray yourself! Still my favorite campground on the island. Always recommend.
