Lovely campground. All the amenities you need, none that you don't. Allowed me my choice of a few tent sites available while making the best suggestions based on our camping setup and local recommendations where appreciated and spot-on. Stokesville as a whole was a perfect example of quintessential rural western Virginia. A return trip is definitely in my future.

Great no-frills campground tucked in the mountains. We stayed a few days in July. Booked RV24 since it was closest to the cabins/tent area where friends were staying. Bad news: the electric box was wired incorrectly so we couldn’t get power. Good news: the campground was nearly empty so we moved to a pull thru spot. All the spots (RV, tent, cabins) are spacious. Camp hosts were friendly. Loved the... Great no-frills campground tucked in the mountains. We stayed a few days in July. Sick campground. Trails in the area are world class and being able to ride directly to and from camp is amazing. Also reddish is an incredible spot.

Stayed in one of the smaller sites (111) and really enjoyed the campground! The site was more spacious than advertised and very pretty. Showers were hot, although they did not drain well at all. Some people also played music out loud, which wasn’t great especially when it was outside of typical quiet hours. I did enjoy the trail system in and around the campground!
