Please use Latrine or bury/pick out waste. There is a small waste bin to be shared among all campers so plan to pack out most or all waste. Note that this is right next to an ATV trail. During most seasons expect occasional noise and little wildlife due to this. Enjoyed the exclusion of the campground, moderate privacy between camps, good camp features (for its remoteness), and the access to a 2 mile trail up to the nearby knob/peak.

Nice find for us while traveling through the area. We had a quiet cold night. The sites are primitive, first come first serve, and free for 14 nights. Port o let was clean. This is an ATV area, but we were here on a weekday and only heard a pair in the distance. Sites are not level, but there are level pads for tents.

Very primitive campground right off the Peters Mill Run trail. We just loved it though. Secluded and perfect for a tent and a fire. There is a pad for the tent, a fire pit and a picnic table.

Small campground with direct access to ATV trails. Tent camping on small sites with fire rings and picnic tables.

I would prefer that the campsites be set apart a little bit more. There was a group of middle aged men blasting music and drinking beer that didn't align with my hopes of a quiet weekend away from the city.
