Great (9mile) hike around the entire area. Great sized camping spots easily fits 2 tents and could accommodate a 3rd. The lake is clean and beautiful. No wood or ice is sold on site but they have sellers a short 15 minute drive away and the bundles are big and cheap. It's a great drive out and in with lots of overlooks. If you hike out to the falls pack food and water. It's an expert hike. You can drive to the nearby parking spots to cut hikes in half for beginners. I will definitely be comming back. As too bee expected you are in the mountains so plan accordingly. Limited cell service. If you hike on the trails you get spotty service which is good considering you're in THE WILDERNESS. Well done rangers and staff at Sheranado Lake.

Very well maintained and good for picnic or bbq. The lake is clean and there’s an island in the middle. Pretty colorful in Fall.

This was one of the most pristine condition RV camp sites I have stayed at. The bathrooms were quite clean and there was a shower. Lots of grassy areas for dogs and extremely dog friendly. We stayed over nght in "C-17, it was a great location, it would be a great RV site for a vacation. The camp ground volunteer host was terrific. The only reason I didnt provide 5 stars is the entire area was a dead zone for any communication. NO CELL SERVICE, and too many trees for the Starlink internet to work. Beautiful drive getting there!

Important - there is NO cell service! One side of the lake is for fishing, the other has lots of picnic tables, a bath house and a sandy beach area. Perfect for family picnics. I personally love the off season to enjoy the views in peace and quiet. It is absolutely beautiful. Perfect backdrop for photography-
