The location is right by the highway, so there is a constant background of traffic noise. The park itself feels more like a trailer park than a campground, with paved roads, astro turf, and more cabins than actual campsites. The sites are extremely small and very close together, with campers facing each other, which doesn’t allow for much privacy. I can not express enough how very, very small the sites are. Street lights stay on all night, so it doesn’t have the natural, dark campground feel. There were also unpleasant odors from the sewer in much of the campground. The rules are quite strict, which made the atmosphere feel more rigid than relaxing. Activities we booked were changed the night before our stay, and the refund policy is not very flexible, which left us disappointed. On top of that, events and activities felt overpriced compared to what was offered. The wifi was nearly unusable. Also worth mentioning, if you're into walking the grounds be prepared for very steep hills. Overall, it came across as a bit of a bait-and-switch from the advertising. Erin was great and super kind!! If you’re looking for a traditional camping experience, this may not be the best fit.

We stayed at Pine Lake RV Park on our way south. We really like this park as it is easy off and back on the highway. The sites are level. The restrooms are individual rooms and extremely clean! It is peaceful and quiet. There were lots of places to walk our puppy! We highly recommend this park.

This campground is amazing! The staff is so friendly and incredibly helpful. Zack was so much help with our firewood and kayaks. We met some wonderful new friends here as well! So amazing we returned the following week before heading home (Florida)! The staff is friendly and efficient, the sites are spacious, the amenities are awesome (I wish I had the grandson, he would love it here!), huge open kitchen in the common area with Saturday night dinners, firepit, and comfy furniture. DIY activities like Paint n Sip, soap making, etc., water play hayride and a cornhole tour... So amazing we returned the following week before heading home (Florida)! DIY activities like Paint n Sip, soap making, etc., water play hayride and a cornhole tournament. The first weekend was a wellness weekend with morning yoga, vendors and a smoothie bar! Pool area was clean/well kept, laundry/showers in each section. Laundry was spotless and the shower rooms are not only spotless but private! No community shower house with tiny stalls. Very quiet as well. I’m always intrigued by people who leave negative reviews…come on! If you cannot give this place five stars I’m thinking you need to give up the RV life and stay home.

The park is well organized with activities if you have kids. As a retired couple we prefer quieter parks but I can see the family draw here. The pool area is very nice with a pool and separate hot tub. I give this park 4.5 stars (round to 5 stars) mainly as the roads are a very dusty dirt/gravel and our particular site was a short end pull thru which was difficult to fit our big rig class A. I give this park 4.5 stars (round to 5 stars) mainly as the roads are a very dusty dirt/gravel and our particular site was a short end pull thru which was difficult to fit our big rig class A. There is not much in this area outside the park. The only Walmart is an older, smaller Walmart and not a super store. Probably not a stop for us again but if you have a family this might be your campground.
