Absolutely beautiful! The view off the docks an landing are breath taking, Maybe get lucky enough to see wildlife cross the river, an or the trails. Fishing there is popular but it's catch n release. Can go camping at the river but you have to walk, along with you're camping gear, food, ect. down to the river. Has out-houses, an wells for water. Dog friendly. Huge spot, an mostly shaded. Tried to access from road which DNR map shows you directions , to discover its gated off and overgrown "road" to camp ground. Ended up at a different StF camp.

Landed here while kayaking this weekend. Be advised: all signage says NO CAMPING; seems like an oxymoron (Canoe Camp...but no camping allowed). Nevertheless, a pleasant place to stop, with water and an outhouse.

Awesome river access, canoe/tent camping campground. If doing a overnight canoe trip, great place to camp out.
