It is hard to put such beauty into words. If you like camping in the outdoors but dont want to use tents and want to stay in a lodge or cabin and have amenities such as a lake to swim in, canoes, hiking trails with places to sit, benches to swing on, and other things like this friedenswald is the place to go. It is absolutely gorgeous with a great history and I would absolutely go again, especiall... It is hard to put such beauty into words. The pristine 'Peace Woods' of Camp Friedenswald make good on their promise for offering a space to retreat, renew, and reconnect. Pictured below, I am standing at a closer-to-nature amphitheater which is one of many eclectic offerings of the camp.

My son's 5th grade class went here for a field trip. It was a great experience. The staff was wonderful. All the kids were given instructions prior to each activity. The activities included archery, canoeing, hiking, and learning about nature and conservation. The cabins were clean and well maintained as well.
