My husband and I rented a double kayak, 2.5 hour run, Thiz is our first time we ever have used Chippewa, the boys working were very friendly and informative. River was windy and had a good flow. Our weather was perfect. Highly recommend this place.

Our group of five stayed at the Firefly campsite, a large clearing with other campsites included, which is surrounded by woods. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed kayaking, and a porta-potty was available right by the campsite. However, we could hear some highway traffic at night. Would return. Ran into many veteran returnees. Great rustic campsite.

I highly recommend the Missaukee Bridge to Chippewa Landing run. Very peaceful and scenic. We saw more wildlife on our trip than we did people. The team here is friendly and accommodating. I’ve never camped here but it looks like fun.

The rentals were a little older but well maintained. They loaded my personal kayak and gear along with the rentals and took us all to the drop off point. They did charge a fee to take my personal kayak. We chose to do the 65 River mile trip over a period of three days. We spent about 5 hours on the water all three days keeping a decent pace. Beautiful area, and abundant wildlife. If you do overnight trips, be prepared. Make sure everything is waterproof. If you're in a kayak your going to get wet. All in all, it was a blast, will definitely be making it a yearly trip!
