Was at this campground this past week-end. The staff were friendly and accommodating. During the staffed hours, you'll likely see Brian patrolling on his golf cart and greeting the campers. The cost of firewood was a bit more than I was used to, but being on the island, everything was a bit more pricey (Gas was 2.18/l at the local co-op). The gas station closes early, so might want to gas up... The gas station closes early, so might want to gas up before boarding the ferry. The office closes early and the campground is not staffed after hours, so if you're used to the provincial park feel with rangers on staff at all hours, this would take some getting used to. The area with the office and bathrooms were lit (the lights may have been a recent thing as I saw feedback earlier about no lighting near the bathrooms). With the limited hours at the park store and the businesses on the island, it's a good idea to pack the essentials and maybe over pack a bit. The bathrooms were clean, but the toilet stalls were a bit narrow. The beach is short walk. Didn't get a chance to test the water as it was bit windy and chilly, but the water looked good. If you camp a lot, the bugs likely won't bother you. There are a lot of daddy long legs and moths. And some black beetles. They're very friendly and like to come into your tent, so you'd want to keep the flaps closed at all times. The park was at only at partial capacity so it was quiet and relaxing.

Group of 5 plus a dog. The bathrooms were clean and the store owner delivered firewood right to our campsite! Everyone was very kind and considerate, we ended up staying an extra night! Great location, walking distance to the beach with well maintained hiking trails throughout the campgrounds. Stars were gorgeous at night!

Very nice, clean, quiet campground. We camped there the third week of May and basically had the place to our selves. We were on a bike trip - the campground is a short quiet ride from the ferry. Great restrooms with showers.

The only camp ground on the island. I suggest you walk the campground as soon as you get there . The trail they sent us down to get to our site had 8 to 10ft clearance we are just below 12' . If the campsite staff had been smart they would have told me to go the wrong way on the one way system where there are no trees . They do not have ♿ bathrooms but is generally clean and peaceful
