Top notch Scout camp! Dedicated staff, great program, and excellent customer service! The council is clearly committed to making this one of the top camps in the state. Our Troop likes the availability of patrol cooking and the flexibility to take the merit badges they are looking for. Beautiful lake, too!

This camp is outstanding! Our troop has been trying to find a scout camp that provides the best all around experience for our youth for many years now. The primary reason we tried EBSR is because their website claimed scouts come for the food. A scout is trustworthy, right? Of course they are! The food here was fantastic. The programming was plentiful and changed scouts to manage their time well.... This camp is outstanding! Come experience it with us.

While I am a past and returning camp staff member, Id like to just say how important and amazing this camp is. I went as a scout for three years and it really shaped how i am today. It keeps kids interested with their waterfronts and shooting sports, while also offering chances for scouts to earn their much needed merit requirements in order to get eagle. There was a negative review on here talkin... There was a negative review on here talking about being moved away from a lifeguard position. This certain guard was moved after falling asleep while on duty, while children were in the water. This perticular employee was then moved to a space where there was need. Given he performed well there, his negative report of this camp was in vain. My apologies for the rant but I need to exemplify how great this camp is and how it changes people's lives for the better. So much so in my case that I fought and begged my parents to let me work at this camp. I love Ed Bryant Scout Reservation and I knkow that you will too.

I’ve been to several Scout camps across the nation, as well as a National Scout Jamboree, and I can affirm that this camp blows most, if not all of them out of the water. The staff were helpful and understanding; whenever faced with a question, they could answer it. I want to particularly shout out to the Boat Beach and Swim Beach staff for helping out the Scouts with considerably difficult merit... Even on the worst days, the staff was enthusiastic and proud to work at this beautiful camp. Finally, the Camp Director and Camp Commissioner were astounding at developing memorable experiences for our children. Thank you, everyone!

New to the camp. Negatives: No directional signs to advise people where to go. No first aid area. Food was sparse. Members of our group came home with cellulitis from bug bites. Merit badge offerings were overbooked and kids were turned away. No way to sign up for merit badge classes in advance. Positives: Gorgeous lake. The camp counselors were awesome.
