This is our go to spot to unwind every year! Absolutely love this place. Campsites come with a fire pit, picnic table and are nice and flat for tents. Bathrooms are always clean and well maintained too. The lake is home to endangered loons that you get to hear every morning, and if you're lucky you'll see a family with their babies 🥰 there are a few offshore fishing spots and a boat ramp. Trails... First come first serve (spot 6 has a direct trail to the lake)

Well marked trail system of three loops located on the north side of the Platte River. Easy to moderate hiking difficulty in a shady forest with a few old growth maples along trail. Ample parking. State Park pass required.

Very good campgrounds for rustic camping, some access to Lake makes it possible to kayak or canoe directly from campgrounds ....toilets were amazingly clean given they were outhouses....definitely would go again. Pictures are of Lake Ann
