I read through some previously posted reviews and was disappointed to see the low stars from some. It’s a fact that you can’t make everyone happy.

Stayed here for the Sanborn Fall Festival, and it was the perfect location. Such a wonderful campground! There's walking trails, cabins to rent, a park for children to play, a pond for fishing, and nice staff.

We stayed here for months. We loved the place. We made so many friends who we thought of as family. But once you leave it's completely forgotten about. We were INVITED by seasonal guest to come swim with them but the owner Caleb told us to leave even though in the rules it states we could've been there. If you aren't apart of their clic you automatically are pushed out. We loved this place and the people there. So sad to see what it has become. We were also very involved with every event that they had. We also paid $1400 a month for a mobile home that leaked the entire time we stayed. We love the people here and will continue to come to Linton to see our people but this campground with this owner that has an ego of a child will never see our business again.

At first this place seems decent. But once inside we seemed to be targeted, first for going “too slow” and then just followed and watched for no apparent reason. The fishing is catch and release only. There’s nothing hillbilly about this place. All the “hillbilly’s” I know are cool and down to earth people! Not uptight! Not a good time, will not be returning.
