The management and employees were awesome and I felt entirely welcomed. The only aspect I missed, and longed for, was a shower, or at least an inside sink with some hot water as I was camping in a tent. I'm hoping they install one before I return!

Very clean and quiet campground! We rolled in later in the evening- we liked that they had the option online to book a site even with the office closed. The host was very friendly. Shopped at their market in the morning, had a great, wide variety of fresh grown produce! Also, nice and close to sleeping bear dunes.

My husband and I visited the campground this past weekend and stayed in one of the cabins. It was very cute and comfortable! I have to say, I was skeptical about this place at first. A couple miles off of major roads in Rhinelander, this place really was a gem. We were there for a hockey tournament and they were very accommodating. Breakfasts for the boys each morning, tons of room to spread out, the coffee shop which they let us use as a home base, it was nice. Rooms were big, beds were comfortable. TVs in the rooms are tiny but we weren’t there for the TV. For those that have a techie bone in your body, the internet worked well inside their main building and main lodge rooms. Spectrum 300/10. All in all, I really recommend it, it was absolutely gorgeous in the winter and I’m interested in returning for the summer.

Very nice campground. Close to Sleeping Bear Dunes, which we were able to visit after setting up. We unfortunately didn't get to check out the store there since we ran out of time. Wanted to reach Ohio by the next day to visit friends. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly.

I chose Holiday Acres for my wedding, even though I had never been there before, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I wanted a serene, cabin-style setting in Wisconsin where both our big families could come together—and this place was perfect. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping back in time. The property is beautiful, the lake is stunning, and the atmosphere is calm, cozy, and full of warmth. The staff went above and beyond, and Carol, the events coordinator, was so helpful and patient with all my questions. The resort has so much character, the gift shop is adorable, and the entire experience created memories we’ll cherish forever. I cannot wait to come back with my husband, create new memories, and continue sharing this special place with our family—it truly holds a near and dear place in our hearts.

For $35/night would have been nice to have showers and toilets that weren't porta pottys but besides that everything was great. Lovely farmer's market and peaceful location, a mere 10min drive to Sleeping Bear.

Just got some drinks and appetizers from the bar area. Great atmosphere and friendly service. The round bar is a really nice set up and very nice place for casual drinks with friends and family.

Holiday Acres assisted us in hosting a small retirement celebration. The communication was excellent, the room was lovely, the food superior, and the service - oh my goodness, it was extraordinary. The servers were attentive and avaiable and friendly throughout the entire event. Thank you, HA. We highly recommend.

Although it is 200 miles from Milwaukee, it was well worth the drive.
