A beautiful little campground on the lake with an artisan well. There's a beach, picnic area, boat landing with a trail head for the Switchback ridge pathway. There are no campsites directly on the lake but some are very close and have a view of the lake.

On the advice of other reviews, we didn’t pick the spot across from the water pump. Great advice! There was a constant stream of locals filling up multiple bottles of water. I’d also say to not camp across from the dumpster. This place is a gem, it was very clean. The toilets were very well stocked with plenty (6-8 rolls) of toilet paper. We were there in August and there were definitely at least 8 or more open spots when we arrived on a Saturday.

A self-service state forest campground, this offers nicely spaced sites on a dirt and gravel road. A boat ramp offers access to Little Brevort Lake. Boats may not have motors, so it is a quiet lake. Vault toilets and a spring, along with picnic tables and fire rings at the campsite, are the only amenities. Bring a check to leave the $15/night fee in the pipe at the entrance.
