A beautiful little campground on the lake with an artisan well. There's a beach, picnic area, boat landing with a trail head for the Switchback ridge pathway. There are no campsites directly on the lake but some are very close and have a view of the lake.

On the advice of other reviews, we didn’t pick the spot across from the water pump. Great advice! There was a constant stream of locals filling up multiple bottles of water. We were there in August and there were definitely at least 8 or more open spots when we arrived on a Saturday.

A self-service state forest campground, this offers nicely spaced sites on a dirt and gravel road. A boat ramp offers access to Little Brevort Lake. Boats may not have motors, so it is a quiet lake. Vault toilets and a spring, along with picnic tables and fire rings at the campsite, are the only amenities. Bring a check to leave the $15/night fee in the pipe at the entrance. We loved this campground! Private sites, great little lake, clean vault toilets, spacious rustic sites with bonfire pit and picnic table, fresh water pump. Would highly recommend to those that like to (mostly) rough it!!
