This was our first time here and we had a great time! Sarah in the office was super sweet and took care of every camping family like they were her family. The lake is beautiful. Great for fishing, kayaking and the kids can swim in the shallow area. Great trails for the dirtbike - were very close and well maintained.

Mostly wonderful little campground. Very friendly and helpful staff. There are only 3 showers, but I didn’t have any trouble getting one in the evening. I would leave a 5-star review, however this campground is not very serious about their quiet hours (10pm-6am). I understand noise for a short time after quiet hours, but it was almost midnight by the time it actually got quiet enough to sleep. There are also lampposts that turn on when it gets dark, so plan to have a light shining in your tent. Overall nice campground!

I spent a week here with a friend and my daughter. 30' toy hauler 5th wheel, full hookup site. We brought a medium size dog and my chihuahua. Never had any issues with other folks or their animals. Lots of big old trees for shade. Those inhibit certain campsites a bit, yet all-in-all there's a lot of room to adjust your camper for most sites. Pay showers are a buck per 5 minute token. Those inhibit certain campsites a bit, yet all-in-all there's a lot of room to adjust your camper for most sites. Pay showers are a buck per 5 minute token. Good, clean, separate room, spacious shower stalls. Clean restrooms. The ORV path is accessible from the campground! Just leave the campground on your dirtbike or 4 wheeler. Perhaps a snowmobile. Make a right. Go to the STOP sign. Make another right. Follow the road for 1/4 mile or so and look for a dirt road that will be on your left just before the warning signs telling you to go no further because it's a private road, dead end. Follow that trail and use your phone or GPS to locate the nearby Leetsville trailhead, but don't forget to mind your way back. Look for the blue street sign that reads Sunbird Ln, Private for heading back to Log Lake campground. That, along with 10 full hook-up sites. nice beach and playground for my daughter (age 10), AND a full 18 net disc golf course within walking distance of the campground, makes this campground a great choice for a hidden gem of a spot to camp within 15 minutes from Torch Lake. The horseshoe pits are neglected last I saw. 1 pin per each set of pits was missing. Volleyball court had a solid net pre hung. There's also pavilions nearby for rent. One in the campground and one across the road from it, near the disc golf course.

Had a great time this weekend at Log Lake campground. It was close to Traverse so we enjoyed the Cherry festival. The host was kind and accommodating. Bathrooms were clean. Lake was peaceful and clean. Will be back!

Cool place. The sites are all dirt and kind of stumpy. And it’s a small campground. We got our 42 foot 5th wheel parked in back. Everything is old and needs to be updated. Now the good stuff. With walking trails for dogs. There is a shower house and office. Small playground It’s cheap to stay here $25 a night but next year they will update so I’m sure it will go up.
