Other small nearby lakes were also excellent (Fish Lake). RV sites are all full hookup and ours was more than large enough for the 43 ft coach. Roads in the park are easy to negotiate with generous corners. Most roads are paved and the sites have gravel pads. The only slight negative was the water does have a iron content that does have an odor and will stain fixtures (common to this area of the UP). Our coach is fully self contained so we didn't use the camp bathrooms. I heard the park was purchased by new owners a few years ago and I did see some evidence of improvements. Overall, this park is a hidden gem!

This was a nice campground very “State Park” style. Camp store has some essentials. The blowup water park situation is where this place shines. That thing is a blast. Exhausting but very fun. I seen a lot of kids on bikes but there really wasn’t anywhere to go. I had to leave the park and cross the highway to find somewhere to go that had some distance. People in our group took a walk down... This was a nice campground very “State Park” style. Camp store has some essentials. The blowup water park situation is where this place shines. The biggest downside was tue bugs got really bad once the sun set. We couldn’t hang around outside by the fire they were so bad. I’m sure it was a happenstance situation not really something to hold against them but I felt I needed to note.

Our stay was fine, was a halfway point between stops but I wouldn't search out again. It was buggy with stumps throughout the camp and broken fire rings in the lot. We had full hookup so did not utilize their showers. Utilized the laundry which was okay. Their dump stations both said "out of order", which we did not need, but plan accordingly. We did pay an extra $25 per kid (which we were informed of when booking).

We stayed here for 3 nights. The location is nice right on the lake. We like the amenities but had issues with noise. The campsite has a policy for quiet hours but does absolutely nothing to enforce it. I complained to the staff about kids on golf carts with loud radio music at 11:30pm. Then the next night it was the same thing. Clearly the staff do not care. We will not be back
