Very fun getting to it. The back roads are great. Most cars and all truck can get to it. We got there in 2wd the entire way. Google maps will route down some definite 4wd routes. Best rocks in the world! Never seen so many rocks.

Great place to visit. There is a first com first served campground....rock beach on both sides of the mouth of the Two Hearted Riverwhere it empties into Lake Superior, endless rock picking for those avid rock lickers. We like to hunt for Yooperlites a few miles away. Great day trip or partial day and night rock hunting.

9-11-25, drove in off of M123. 500, 414 and 423 were in great condition. 30-40mph most of the drive. Drank a 2-hearted next to the river and enjoyed the scenery before heading over to Crisp point lighthouse. Decent parking and good signage on the way in.

This place is one of the true treasures of the U.P. There is a swinging bridge you must go over to reach the lake Superior side on the west. Two Hearted river comes out to the Lake here. Beautiful spot for just relaxing, rock hunting, swimming, and beach day. There is a state campground before the bridge.
