I have enjoyed this beautiful park all my life! You will enjoy camping...be prepared for neighbors as lots of folks love camping here. There is a store with candy, drinks, some toys and ICE CREAM! The beach has a children's floating dock and 3 resting logs to get you to the deeper floating dock. No lifeguard on duty so be sure your Littles can swim or wear floatation. The real magic is in the sac... I have enjoyed this beautiful park all my life! You will enjoy camping...be prepared for neighbors as lots of folks love camping here. These areas are clearly marked. Please be very respectful as you visit these Sacred grounds. Enjoy our beautiful area we are so fortunate to call it home.

Loved camping there. Now I am talking seventy years ago. Park had about 12 camp sites. For .25 cents you had electricity. One 15 Amp fuse that was always popping out if more than several sites was using it. I remember some walk-in toilets and grassy area to a pier. My dad loved fishing for walleyes along a bar on the north side. Brings back a lot of memories for me.

A beautiful park and campground that has many shady and peaceful sites to offer for campers. And don't forget the vast swimming space that Lake Chicagoan has to offer as well.

The lake is nice and the area is relaxing. They added a bike path near by and expanded what they offered at the camp store. The bathrooms could be cleaned more often, but otherwise it is a great place to camp with the family.

Campground is awesome, lots to do and see! Great beach area and the little store has lots of goodies! Only complaint is nosy campers who complain about adults riding bikes past sunset.
