It is a sink hole lake. Many sink holes surrounded by very shallow water. There are no beaches, but bass fishing can be good. One favorable aspect is there are 2 state parks close by.

The first night some a hole ran a generator from 10:30 pm until 11:00 am. The ranger had a talk with him and the next night was quiet.

Beautiful, spacious, quiet campsites with stairs down to a small dock, perfect for fishing or kayaking/canoeing. Vault toilets were well-kept. Would definitely return!

Nice quiet campground with only 11 sites. Most of the sites are wooded and good-sized for tents or small trailers. No waterfront sites. Pit toilets were well maintained. The boat launch is a 'carry-in' launch and requires you to carry your boat down a set of 10-15 stairs to get to the water. Lake is calm and protected, perfect for kayaking and canoeing. Plenty of fish to catch. Lots of loons call... Nice quiet campground with only 11 sites. Most of the sites are wooded and good-sized for tents or small trailers. No waterfront sites. This is a Wooded Rustic small State Forrest Campground. Situated on Twin Lakes. Clean small series of Rustic lakes divided by islands and points. Few people know this Gem. Often we've had it to ourselves. No beach, but a dock. Great kayaking, fishing and boating, No Wake. Boat Ramp is a couple miles from the campground. Hand pump well, clean outhouses.
