I stayed here for a week while working in the area, and it was truly an experience. If you get the chance to stay here, you definitely should. I stayed here for a week while working in the area, and it was truly an experience. If you get the chance to stay here, you definitely should. This is a beautiful, very natural place that feels alive in the best way. Every morning I woke up to deer passing through the fog, and every evening geese would flock and sound off as the sun went down. The nights were clear and full of stars, the air peaceful, and the ground soft. The willow trees I camped under had this magical energy about them. The owners are great people friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. The shower had great pressure and stayed nice and hot, and I had both water and electric hookups right outside my camp. At night, I’d fall asleep to the sound of fish slapping the water, crickets chirping, and the wind rustling through the trees, sometimes joined by the distant calls of geese or the occasional howl in the distance. Despite being surrounded by wildlife, I was never once bothered. (I slept with my food in my tent, and during the day when i left to work I would take it along with any trash, with me, my tent was never bothered every day i left for work and it was left standing) This place is a peaceful escape from the noise of everyday life. I’ll definitely be back.

I felt like a kid again myself! I absolutely love this campground and staff. Also has a beautiful small lake to fish, next to the Kalamazoo river to Kayak!

Nothing fancy! But a great family run campground! Tall pines in the back. Red barn with old arcade games and pool tables run by 86yr old Donna. Water and electric, but added charge to run ac or elec heater. Bath house needs some work. There is 2-3miles of dirt road to get here. No cell coverage for Verizon or at&t. But we had a great time & will be back!

Love this campground. It does not have a lot of amenities, but it does have a pond for fishing, swimming. Can also do a canoe trip. It has beautiful big pine trees, sites are spacious, the people who work there are friendly and helpful. Have been coming here for over 30 years.

There's so much beauty here even in the winter. Thanks Mike for letting us take a stroll even though you're closed for the winter. See you in the spring!
