Well manicured and well kept. Big campground along the river. Helpful staff. Cement patios/ mostly level at the full hookup sites. 10 minutes to Iron Mountain, 1 hour to Escanaba. Great water pressure. Easily one of the better environments I have stayed at.

Rating: 5/5 stars I'm thrilled to share my outstanding experience at The Rivers bend campsite! As a seasoned camper (43 years young!), I've had the pleasure of visiting numerous campsites, but this one stands out from the rest. The owners are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and dedicated to ensuring a comfortable stay. Initially, the community may seem a bit reserved, but don't let that deter you - they soon warm up, and the atmosphere becomes peaceful and serene. I've found my new go-to camping spot, and I'm eager to return every summer (if not more often!). The Rivers bend campsite offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. We were fortunate to arrive during a gentle rain, which allowed us to set up our tent under a pavilion - a blessing in disguise! This sheltered spot made our camping trip even more amazing, as we avoided the scorching sun beating down on us in the morning. We were so enchanted by the campsite and its surroundings that we extended our stay from two nights to three - and still didn't want to leave! The peaceful atmosphere, combined with the excitement of exploring Kingsford and Iron Mountain, made for an unforgettable experience. We enjoyed fishing, rafting, and camping, all within walking distance. Thank you, The Rivers bend campsite, for an incredible experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem to anyone seeking a tranquil and fun camping experience. We'll be back soon!

We love coming here. The grounds are well maintained and everything (especially the bathrooms!) are so clean. Last year I came with my parents and had a great pull thru RV spot. This year my husband and I tent camped on the "island" and loved being a little more secluded. The folks at the store are super friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to come back!

Perfect site on white river. Canoe livery close by-and they will deliver it to you! People are warm and welcoming, they will guide you to your site. Every thing has been upgraded, check in camp store, remote potty's, and pool area. Truly an enjoyable experience. Book Today! (I am in no way affiliated with them, just a camper).

We loved this place. So much to do and so many cool campsites. Warning: if you go during peak salmon fishing time and tent along the river, total strangers will invade your campsite with no hesitation, stand around with their buddies, smoke and swear. There were several empty campsites right next to us but apparently our site had prime fishing.
