It is a lovely Park, we were in a campsite close to the lake but the rain brought the lake to our front door.

This is a beautiful campground with mature trees. Almost all sites are shaded and of fairly good size. Most have electrical hookup. There are 6 showers, 3 each for boys and girls. There are 6 showers, 3 each for boys and girls. The bathrooms/ showers were not the most modern, but exceptionally clean. The showers are free, but timed. 7 minute per shower with a 5 minute pause in between. The water was hot and had good pressure. There is a sand pit with swings and another with a volleyball net. Otherwise no playground, but plenty to do for all ages.. Make sure you bring kayaks and bikes. The 4 mile mostly paved trail around the lake is worth the hike/ bike trip and can easily be tackled by smaller children. We stayed on site 17, where we had access to the water with our kayaks. Fishing was the best close to the dam. There was a disc golf course on in the park across the lake and a huge sand beach on the south side.

NOT BIG RIG FRIENDLY DESPITE website. Low clearance maybe 12’. Zero after hours or emergency assistance. Absolutely the most disorganized dysfunctional system we’ve ever come across.
