Nice campground and was a very short walk to Lake Superior. Multiple fire rings and a pit toilet. The bear boxes are excellent and rodent proof. Some of the sites such as site 5 are not level and tiny. If you have site 5 people also have to walk through your site to get to the toilet. The vicinity to Lake Superior makes up for it though!

Overall a very nice backpacking campground. I was there in 2018. The terrain is a little uneven, but that’s the price you pay for the trees which give you nice coverage from the wind. It’s well maintained with bear boxes and a pit toilet. Beware the chipmunks though, they’re pretty brazen about getting into your backpack for snacks.

Great campground, enough room & trees to be separated from other campers & feel like in your own little corner, only 2 fire rings but was fun!
