Love Chute Pond. I wish the sites were more level. A beautiful place. Disappointed in the people who camp there and use the park, they do not pick up after themselves, and leave the sites littered. We left ours clean.

The parking is free and the swimming area always has room for lounging around all day long. The 'beach' is grass and there is a short walking trail to 'jumping rock'. Walk down the trail by the dam and you can also get to 'slippery rock'. I have been going here for more than 60 years and always had a great time.

Somethings I want to share about the campground. We do a lot of camping and try a few new places each year. Chute Pond “gets the job done”. Unfortunately we won’t place this on our list of “must come back” campgrounds. Sites are extremely uneven. Sites are stacked on top of each other. They squeezed 72 sites into a 40 site campground. You can see exactly what you’re neighbors are having for dinner... Somethings I want to share about the campground. We do a lot of camping and try a few new places each year. There are 4 showers that are quarter operated and the showers are cold. The beach is overcrowded and small and not dog friendly. There are public streets that run through the campground with moderate traffic so the peaceful aspect is non existent. There are simply much better campgrounds with many near by such as Boulder Lake. The only positive is that it’s a reasonably priced campground with electric.

Absolutely a grand place. Haven't been here in years, but will be back soon. Site was great. The campground manager was super nice and friendly. Hiking was awesome. Can't wait for our next visit!
