We travel from Montana for the fall Salmon run, this is our first time staying at Heart of the Forest and it will from now on be our go to place. The host is fantastic, friendly and verify accommodating. We stayed in the Retro trailer. It is maticulously maintained and clean. Such a comfortable little trailer and it is so cool inside. Thank you for such a great place so close to where we fish... Enjoyed our 3 days at Heart of the Forrest Campground. Its nestled amongst beautiful trees with lots of fall color! Big rig friendly with ample room! Bathroom/shower facilities are well taken care off. DRY wood available too! The owner is super! My only suggestion would be to repair the potholes at the entrance.

This has been my go-to campground for fall salmon fishing for the last 5 years. In the last year or two, they have really turned the place around. Lots of new updates, and features. The owners are very pleasant people to chat with, and have streamlined the online reservation process quite well. Looking forward to coming back next year!

My husband and I stayed in their cottage and it was just lovely. The cottage is clean and has everything you need for a great stay. I loved the firepit in the back and the deck. The fenced in front yard is so cute too! It felt like camping, but with indoor plumbing and AC. The campground itself is beautiful. It’s small and quiet. People are friendly and the owners are so helpful. We really enjoyed... My husband and I stayed in their cottage and it was just lovely. FIVE STARS⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a group of 6 stay at the Heart of the Forest RV Park in August 2025! It was unbelievably nice. The owners are so friendly and are available for anything you need. They are cheerful and welcoming, and gave great advice for things to do in the area, including the best pizza in town! Even the campers next to us were friendly. It was quiet at night, no bugs, and beauti... FIVE STARS⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a group of 6 stay at the Heart of the Forest RV Park in August 2025! It was unbelievably nice. The owners are so friendly and are available for anything you need. They are cheerful and welcoming, and gave great advice for things to do in the area, including the best pizza in town! Even the campers next to us were friendly. It was quiet at night, no bugs, and beautiful mature trees are abundant. We took our group rafting down the Pine River and it was so close to get to our drop off place. Our group will be returning next summer. I can honestly say this will be our spot each year.
