My friends and I stayed for a long weekend, and it was a wonderful time! We stayed in the area closer to the river, and the site we chose was wonderful. It was quiet and a relaxing time, and the store employees (Sammi and I think Keith?) were very friendly and helpful. We saw staff cleaning the bathrooms a couple of times, and they kept on top of that pretty well! The only possible complaint that my friends and I have is that the toilet paper dispensers were low on the wall; the opening was at your knees so it was a little inconvenient to get the toilet paper. But other than that, no complaints! We also canoed down the river on Friday. Our driver on the way up was friendly and we were able to chat, and both he and the other employee were helpful in getting us going on the river! When we were on the river on our own it was relaxing and fun. If you go, don't forget to reapply sunscreen, and you'll definitely want to bring something to eat or else you'll get back to camp hungry. Overall, well worth the trip, and I'm definitely looking at when I'll next be able to get away for a weekend!

I was shocked by how incredibly rude a staff member was to every camper he spoke to. I don't know how this place could get repeat campers while having this man on staff. We watched him berate children and adults alike, repeatedly, like a grown bully. I understand having rules and expectations but the way you speak to customers matters and he was downright nasty. I don't know how this place could get repeat campers while having this man on staff. We watched him berate children and adults alike, repeatedly, like a grown bully. I understand having rules and expectations but the way you speak to customers matters and he was downright nasty. When we complained at the end of our trip, it was apparent that this man is an ongoing issue yet they still have him on staff so I don't foresee any changes. The sites are also incredibly dirty but we would have looked past that. I cannot, however, look past terrible customer service by staff on power trips. If you're looking for a happier stay, White's Canoe and Livery is the place to go. They may not have a pool but they sure know how to treat people right.

I was very disappointed with our stay. This was my first time ever being to an outdoor adventure in any area. We went with my grandma who has a membership. We went with my grandma who has a membership. I want to start with the fact that there is only 1 set of handicap stalls up at the top of the hill. My husband is paralyzed and needed a bathroom. The showers were full of black mold. There were multiple staff who were very inconsiderate when it came to the fact that we had someone in a wheelchair with us. For example, my husband was trying to fish the corner of the pond closest to the camping store. There was no one on the beach or in the water and he was told he could not fish that corner. When we stated to the staff that this was the only area he could fish due to the pond having hills on the other side the staff told him “it didn’t matter and he’d need to go over to the other side or don’t fish”. There were multiple games in the arcade room that did not work and had no sign on them saying “out of order”. We were swimming in the pool and heard a group of boys swearing and saying very inappropriate things. We brought it to the staffs attention twice and no actions were took. I can stay that I will never camp at this resort again and I would not recommend staying more than a night if you plan to just float the river.

One of the worst campgrounds I have ever stayed at. I've stayed at better state parks. The bathrooms and showers are out dated and disgusting. Must be original stalls. Laundry is small, and disgusting.(They dont allow clothed lines, so everything is always wet) Pool is very small with limited hours. But hey it is lit with colorful LEDs. Bonus. There is a tiny Whirlpool. Beach on the river looked combed, small for the amount of people at the campground. They do offer tubing and canoeing with rentals and pick up. Which also means people from outside of campground. This is not a quiet camp, very busy. You would think with all the revenue they could at least put in new modern bathrooms and showers and a larger pool. The sites are narrow and poorly marked. When looking for your site you have to look for the lot numbers on the electrical panel at the back of the site. Campers sit on top of each other, or in each others sites, my neighbor parked on my side, in my site. Only saving grace they did leave strips of tree behind camp sites. No directional signs on drives to indicate where pool, store, showers etc are. The camp store left alot to be desired. Dont depend on it for more than some ice and ice cream. Limited groceries, and not many useful things. The only wifi access is at the pool. Even state parks offer WiFi park wide. For an Outdoor adventure facility, very disappointed. I left a day early it was so terrible.

The next morning, a very unprofessional ‘worker’ (wearing a galaxy wolf jacket) told us to move everything, even though a neighboring tent was also misplaced. When we all walked up to the store to try to fix it by re-registering, the manager yelled at my wife and called her rude, despite approving the setup and verifying our boundaries the previous night himself. the other staff seemed apologetic and hinted this happens often. Poor communication and awful management made for a frustrating stay
