We rented a cozy little cabin that was perfect for our family of four. The location was ideal, right by the river, and the nearby fire pit with a built-in grill made it easy for us to enjoy some great meals and quality time together. The park managers were incredibly hospitable, treating me, my wife, and our children with such warmth and kindness. The highlight, though, was the simplicity of the place—being able to escape the busyness of city life and spend uninterrupted time as a family in such a peaceful hideaway. We also had a special experience with the local campers, who generously shared some firewood with us and even gifted us some salmon fillets. It was a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more memorable. And let’s not forget the stars at night—simply breathtaking! Thank you to everyone involved in making our experience so special. We won’t forget this time together. God bless you all for being part of our wonderful journey. "A thanks to Chat GBT as well helping refine my original review" "Ethan J. Miller Aka Enigmatic"

This is a really nice campground. We stayed in October, and it was really quiet as most people were done for the season. I imagine it's pretty packed during peak season as the sites are pretty close together, but that's pretty typical. They have river sites for a higher fee, but I thought the wooded sites were just as nice. Pool was closed but I expect it is probably clean because everything else... Rustic bathrooms and showers, but clean. You'll have hot water for about 7 minutes. They have cute cabins with just 2 bunk beds and an AC unit, not sure of the price. Beautiful rustic river sites for tents, but I think $100 per night is pretty steep for rustic camping. Overall, it's a well run campground. NOTE: The road to get down to the campground is steep, dirt, and curved. You'll need 4 wheel drive to get back up when you're ready to leave, so be sure you can handle it. There is an amazing farm market (Nelson's) nearby. Be sure to check them out!

We also caught a couple nice salmon while we were there.

A small campground, but an awesome place. We have stayed here a number of times. We camp right over the river. It is fun to watch the fishing and wildlife. The waterfowl hunting for food, woodpeckers, song birds and birds of prey are part of the entertainment. Fishing boats, folks tubing, kayaks and canoes add to the fun. The staff at the campground keep the facilities very clean, better than most... A small campground, but an awesome place. We have stayed here a number of times. We camp right over the river. Occasional Holiday festivities are great too. The staff are welcoming and check in with you to see if everything is satisfactory. There are a variety of ways to stay here, different view locations for RV camping, up high or down on the lower levels. There are rental RV's, Rustic Camping and Cabins too! Check them out!

My wife and I camped here the last week in October. The weather was perfect, trees were changing colors, and the view of the river was awesome. George and his wife were great and very helpful. The washrooms and showers were clean, and the camp store was well stocked. We will definitely return.
