Great state park! So much beachfront for a state park and the lake is so shallow and can walk for several hundred feet! Lots of slides and playgrounds for kids, the Store has tons of rental options for toys too. Restrooms have definitely been updated recently too, which isn’t always the case for a state park. We thoroughly enjoyed camping here and had a great view of the lake!

Beautiful state park. We're full time rv travelers in the area staying at the campground. Has a store, and kayak rental. They even have wheelchair pads accessible to the water.

Great hiking trails. We did Loop C and it was about 5 ish miles of very easy walking. I would come back. Then we launched our kayaks at the Marl Lake access & did about 7 miles. We went across the lake to the Cut River a ways. Heading back was upstream and against the wind. Note the Marl Lake looks sandy bottomed and shallow however it is a layer of muck, the paddle continues sinking below. Lots... Great hiking trails. I’m not sure if these are invasive.
