This is a wonderful primitive camp ground right on Tomahawk lake. The sites are clear and pretty level, with enough space between them. Many are right on the lake allotting excellent views of the water. There is a pump well and vault toilets and the lake offers a small boat ramp or one end making it idea for a kayak. Saw a great variety of birds and wildlife and it's close it several other lakes a... This is a wonderful primitive camp ground right on Tomahawk lake. This time of the year it's very quiet and peaceful. This morning the Bass were jumping. To bad I didn't have a pole.

Shhh. Don't tell everybody what a gem this place is. Secluded and a bit off the beaten path, most of the campsites face the lake. It also has a beach, which not many State campgrounds can offer. Bonus! There's also a hidden swimmin' hole with a sandy bottom and tiny beach if you wanna go skinny dipping :)!
