Leading up to our trip we were a bit nervous seeing some of the negative reviews, however, once getting here we clearly saw it was just a few experiences that got highlighted. Negatives we found true from the reviews: if you get a spot in the front near the highway, there is no tree coverage and spots are tight (we would not have enjoyed our experience if we had been parked up there). Negatives we found true from the reviews: if you get a spot in the front near the highway, there is no tree coverage and spots are tight (we would not have enjoyed our experience if we had been parked up there). However, if you get a spot in the back there are trees everywhere, it’s quiet and not a lot of bugs (which surprised us with the amount of water around). We did also notice many of the teenage workers do just sit around on their phones. Didn’t bother us but it was noticeable. Positives: -TONS of family activities planned on Saturday to participate in! -Water park was clean, pool was warm and new. -RC track; we LOVED having this at the campground! -Outside of planned events on Saturday the campground still offers tons of stuff to do for kids. -delivering firewood to your site (which was great for us since we didn’t rent a golf cart) Biggest takeaway from this review: we will be back!

We had a fine time. Pros: -We had a couple interactions with Pam and she was helpful and not rude to us. -The cabin was fine, a/c worked really nice. -Very few bugs. -Bathhouse in great condition. -Nice flush toilets all over campground. -Golf carts were nice. Agreeing with other reviews: -All the water smells, similar to lake resorts, not insurmountable. -The pool staff was as checked out as me... We had a fine time. Agreeing with other reviews: -All the water smells, similar to lake resorts, not insurmountable. -The pool staff was as checked out as mentioned in other reviews. They shut down the pool on us earlier than posted with no explanation. -The pools were…wet, slides scraped the kids up a lot though and the adults only pool should have been called adults only toilet, the water smelled like straight urine.

We had such a great time at Adventure Bound! This was our first visit, and honestly, everything exceeded our expectations. I had read a few negative reviews beforehand and wasn’t sure what to expect, but we were SO happy with our stay! The pool was a huge highlight for our kids — they couldn’t get enough of the water feature with all 11 slides! So much fun! We loved having a golf cart to cruise around and explore the campground. The staff at the pool and office were friendly and welcoming every time we saw them. They even went out of their way in the gift shop to find the perfect souvenir for us! We spent our days swimming, bouncing on the big pillow, playing soccer, hanging at the arcade, and just enjoying time outside with family. Such a fun and easy getaway — we made great memories and would definitely come back again!

As a seasonal, I want you to know that the seasonals pay and put on many things for the campground. The parades, the only candy the campground pays for is from their wagon, all other candy thrown by the golf carts is personally paid for. The basket ball hoop(s) are paid for by seasonals (these tend to break often and not just by kids of seasonals) Seasonals have paid for multiple volley ball nets. Seasonals put on some of the DJ events (the ones that are not scheduled). Carnival weekend- the seasonals provide the baked goods and candy for the games. Seasonals put on other games, such as whipped cream kick ball. Treasure hunts, the money the kids find, is brought in by seasonals. My point is, many things that "weekenders" get to do and experience are paid for by the seasonals. Without us paying for that, you would have less for you and your kids to experience. As for "seasonals" and "weekenders" i am not sure how you would like people to address who is there seasonally, and who is there for a weekend... I have been to many campgrounds around the state and country before becoming a seasonal, and this is how most differentiate, whether you realize it or not. As for shade -- the pool has umbrellas, but they cannot be used when windy due to safety reasons. This is typical for any campground. As for the trees. They were removed in 2024 in the front section of the campground, due to disease, they were all dead. They will continue to remove dead trees, again for safety reasons. Depending upon where you chose to camp, will depend upon your shade coverage -- again, this can be any campground and this is outside of the campgrounds control. My understanding is that they will be replanting. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your weekend to the fullest, but just know that the seasonals do everything we can to ensure that YOUR kids to get to have a great time. It's actually very sad to know that we as seasonals spend extra money to ensure that you and your family have a great time and its not appreciated. May you find yourself a campground you can enjoy.

Do not waste your money. We were unimpressed by the campground itself. And then the river started flooding. Had we not woken up our cars and tents and camper would have been floating. There was not a worker in sight. They do not care about their patrons. They are there to make money only. This has gone down in our camping journal as a place we will never go back to. We spoke to multiple other families some who left mid weekend because they were unhappy with the service. We spoke to many people today while we were being flooded, unhappy all around. The consensus for everyone is unhappy. The staff are disrespectful. If you can pull their attention away from their phone long enough to have a conversation you will leave unhappy. Whatever is happening on social media seems to be more important than doing their jobs or interacting with customers. They do not care about you. They only care about your money spend it somewhere else. 0/10 recommend. I give 1 star because i cannot give 0.
