Very private location in the woods with hiking trails and a lake. Lake is small enough to kayak or canoe around. Swim area is marked with buoys and was monitored with a life guard at all times during our stay. Eating hall is very large and can accommodate many persons. Had a wonderful experience and will be attending again in the future.

We are three generations of Girl Scouts and have attended many many summers combined at Camp Nawakwa. Friendships have been made that are still rich today. Friendships have been made that are still rich today. Tradition that’s what I think of when I remember Camp Nawakwa. Every summer I counted down the days until my mom collected and packed my bags for camp. When I arrived she would sneak in a few surprises for me including an envelope a day to read from her - but Camp wasn’t complete until we visited the camp store and I bough a new sweatshirt to wear my memories in. Some of my sweetest childhood days were spent at Camp Nawakwa, then CIT (counselor I’m training) finally I worked at Camp Nawakwa and my name was Koala. My mother has passed tradition down to myself which I’ve shared to my four daughters.
