Beautiful campground, well-kept, super clean and quiet. We stayed here in 2021 and finally made it back cuz' we loved it. We rode the Root River trail again, which is a pretty short 1/4 mile trip along the road to get from the campground to the trailhead in Whalan, but in Whalan there is the Pie Shop, so there's a bonus for you pie freaks out there!

Nice campground and relatively quiet. Bathrooms and shower buildings were clean and well kept. Short distance from biking trail and cute little towns. The tubing on the Root River was fantastic!! Plan to be back!
