Beautiful and good access to the St Croix Flowage BUT the seven mile road to get there is in very poor condition. There are great camping sites and some have electricity but there is NO WATER. There are no water hookups at any sites. There is no water available in the park at all except a hand pump in the fish cleaning station with no sign to indicate if it is potable. Many fish cleaning stations... Many fish cleaning stations pump out of the lake or river. The handle is missing from the only pump in the campground. There is NO RV DUMP STATION. There is a sign that says the closest dump station is 14 miles away in their other park in Solon Springs. There is pit toilet (out house). It is almost full with liquid very early in the season, June 3. I bet many are dumping their RV wastewater totes in there. I don't know what else anyone staying longer than three days is supposed to do. We paid four nights when we arrived before we realized the problems. We planned to stay two weeks but will be moving. We moved to a nearby campground with full hookups for only $5 / night more. Douglas County can do a lot better.

Confusing check in and directions. Phone doesnt let u talk to anyone. Employees no where in site for wood or questions. Vault toilets were gross. Small sites but they were level. No sewer except a dump station .5mi away. Could be better but priced right.
