After the storm I heard that this place was pretty trashed. They cleaned it up nice. Vaulted toilets with fire rings at the campsite with picnic tables. Basic amenities. No one was there. State Forest right next to the campground. I caught fish non-stop off the dock. Sorry but I had a blast there, and I was right by the water.

This is a mostly quiet lake. There are only a couple dozen cabins on the whole lake. It was damaged by storms last year, but it is open. There are trees down and could be cut up to use for firewood. A few sites border the lake, although there are a lot of lily pads near the shore. Primitive with 4 vault toilets. Good tree coverage for shade but not very much between sites for privacy.

Nice place but may feel over crowded at capacity. Pretty empty for my stay.

Rustic, state forest campground - not many campers late in the fall. Has vault toilets and large campsites immediately next to the lake, a small boat access, a small dock, and gorgeous sunsets.
