We stayed at tent site N6 and visited over 4th of July weekend and it was our first time here! The beach is by far the best part of this place, it's so incredible. Also, Lisa did such a great job at the front desk and went out of her way to make our stay as wonderful as possible. Honestly, she's the reason we re-booked again for next year. Camped Friday- Sunday in a tent, we were at site n4 and it was beautiful! Very secluded you can access the water from our site close water Spicket and outhouse. The beach was great. The only surprise was that you can’t park at your site, you have to unload and park in the parking lot.

Great annual camping experience for the whole family! We’ve camped at Hok-Si-La for 4 years now and it’s become a kind of tradition/routine for us. Many good things there. Good host. Well maintained. Nice camp site (we usually take the wooded sites). Secure with Sheriff horse patrols 3-4 times a day. Nice dry wood for fires; delivered. Clean bathrooms, including hot showers ($0.25 for 1.5 minutes)... Great annual camping experience for the whole family! Beautiful location on Mississippi River/Lake Pepin. Lake City a few miles away with boat rides, food, groceries, gas, etc. Fishing. Balls for use (soccer, volleyball, basketball, etc.). Nice sand volleyball court and playground. Great for families!
