Children friendly campground, well maintained. Swimming was great with the clear water. Didn't find any ticks on kids or dog. Smaller fish around the dock, but that was fine for the kids. Overall we had a great time.

Very nice campground. We had site 3 and it had access to the river. Campground is well kept, big field in the middle, pier, and beach on the lake. Water is very clean and clear, great for swimming. Cell service was also very good here. Vault toilets, no showers. Overall would come back.

Gorgeous campground! Peaceful forest, beautiful lake and colorful sunset on it, spacious campsites, clean vault toilet, small sand area which is great for kids to play and swim. Hosts Susan and Richard are very nice, helpful and caring people. It was a great pleasure to talk with them! Big thank you to Richard who fogged the grass on our camp site to keep away vicious mosquitos and shared some tips with us - spoiled Californians who do not know how to deal with such an abundance of annoying insects😂

Two boat landings, one lakeside, the other downstream from the dam. The river is a nice, slow place to kayak, canoe, paddleboard, etc. I'm planning on possibly doing a day trip down the river from here. There is also a T dock that seems to be quite popular for fishing; while kayak angling near it, I caught a ton of rock bass and several smaller northern.

Beautiful campground :) Not many spots so get there early if you want to stay. The fishing dock is great and there is a separate small beach for swimming. Port-o-potty style toilets in a brick building, but hey better than squatting in the woods. A spicket near bathrooms for running water. Garbage/recycling bins at entrance of campground. They do ask that everyone quiet down by 10pm to respect you... Beautiful campground :) Not many spots so get there early if you want to stay. Also, make sure you put away any food or garbage before going to sleep. There are some local dogs, as well as those little critters in the wild that like to look for scraps.
